Beschreibung:
Am 17.November 1943 eskortierte das IJN-Fliegerass Tetsuzo Iwamoto Sturzkampfbomber von Rabaul zu einem Angriff auf Cape Torokina auf Bougainville. Waehrend dieses Einsatzes stiess er zum ersten Mal auf Corsairs von der Navy (vom VF-17 Squadron) und schoss zwei von ihnen ueber Empress Agusta Bay ab. Sie werden jetzt den Einsatz von Iwamoto fliegen. Die Amerikaner haben einen Stuetzpunkt nahe Torokina auf Empress Augusta Bay errichtet, der unser Bollwerk in Rabaul bedrohen kann. Sie werden die Sturzkampfbomber nach Torokina begleiten und diese Bedrohung ausloeschen.
Ziele:
Rabaul ist unsere staerkste Bastion zwischen dem amerikanischen Vorruecken und den Heimatinseln. Bougainville ist der Schluessel fuer die Aufrechterhaltung dieses Stuetzpunktes.
Geheimdienst:
Sie koennen mit heftigem und entschlossenem Widerstand der USN-Piloten rechnen, die die neue und starke Corsair fliegen.
