4 groups of F6Fs equipped with bombs and rockets will take off and strafe the artillery sites on the island.

4 other groups will cover them.

Die Inselinstallationen sind Geschichte. Nun heisst es den letzten Schritt fuer die bevorstehende Invasion zu vollziehen, naemlich die Zerstoerung der Artilleriestellungen auf Bougainville, so dass unsere Flotte gefahrlos die Truppen an Land bringen kann.

4 Gruppen F6F ausgeruestet mit Bomben und Raketen werden die Insel im Tiefflug beharken.

4 weitere Gruppen werden sie decken.
