This may not reach the islands, because if there is something we don't need, is the fact, that the enemy gets new reinforcements! We quickly loaded some TBFs with torpedoes and you will fly cover for them! This will disturb our plan for a big strike against the base, but it has absolutely high priority! Dismiss! Much Luck! German: Gilbert Konvoi 03.11.1943 08:30 Bei unserem morgendlichen Rundflug sind wir auf einen Versorgungskonvoi der Japaner gestossen. Dieser darf auf keinen Fall die Inseln erreichen, denn was wir absolut nicht gebrauchen koennen ist, dass der Gegner frischen Nachschub bekommt! Wir haben eiligst TBFs mit Torpedos ausgeruestet und Sie werden ihnen Begleitschutz geben meine Herren! Dies wirft zwar unsere urspruengliche Planung eines grossen Luftschlages gegen die Basis durcheinander aber dieser Einsatz hat absolute Prioritaet! Weggetreten! Viel Glueck!
