During the battle around the Mariannas there was one of the biggest air battles in WW2.

In this battle there were 300 Japanese fighting against 290 Americans, and in history it will be called later the Big Turkey Shooting.

In this battle the American pilots downed 297 Japanese planes while self only loosing 12.

Waehrend der Schlacht um die Mariannen kam es zu einer der groessten Luftschlachten des 2. Weltkrieges.

In dieser standen sich 300 Japaner und 290 Amerikaner gegenueber, und sie ging in die Geschichte als Turkey Shooting ein.

Waehrend des Gefechtes schossen die amerikanischen Piloten 297 japanische Flugzeuge ab und verloren selbst nur 12 dabei.
